PSHE & RSE

The Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education (PSHE) and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) curriculum aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for their safe and effective engagement with the world. Our goal is to enhance each student's potential for independence, considering their unique needs and abilities, while fostering the development of meaningful relationships, encouraging personal responsibility, and aiding them in navigating changes during puberty.

The curriculum also focusses on guiding students towards making healthy life choices, managing personal safety, and introducing them to broader topics such as the world of work, economics, and politics. Through the PSHE/RSE curriculum, we provide explicit and implicit learning opportunities that align with students' increasing independence, physical development, and social awareness as they progress through school. While various aspects of PSHE/RSE are integrated into the entire school experience, specific emphasis on teaching areas may shift based on the students' age groups.
