The school has a fantastic, purpose-built environment that enables us to deliver an exciting and diverse curriculum for each and every child so that they leave with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully engage in the next stage of their lives. Our staff are empowered to share ideas, lead change, and shape provision. Whether you’re an experienced SEN teacher or early in your career, you’ll find a genuine opportunity to make a lifelong impact.

Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Home School Link Worker to join Fitzwaryn School in a pivotal role, offering the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and their families by building strong relationships, embedding a robust safeguarding culture, and ensuring the very best outcomes for every young person in our care. This role has been created due to the expansion of the school into a satellite provision.

As a member of the safeguarding team, you will support our DSL and current HSLW with all aspects of family support and safeguarding. The role will involve direct work with pupils and their families to improve their lives and ensure our pupils are safe. The role will also involve representing the school at multi-agency meetings.

Fitzwaryn is an outstanding special school for children and young people from 3 – 19 years old whose Special Educational Needs range from Moderate Learning Difficulties through to profound and multiple learning difficulties.

At Fitzwaryn, you will find not just a job, but the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful, helping our pupils grow in confidence, achieve their potential, and thrive both in school and beyond.

Administrative Officer

Fitzwaryn School is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrative Officer to lead our busy school office. Reporting to the School Business Manager, this is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations and supporting the SLT and staff in delivering excellent service to staff, pupils, and parents. They will also act as the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the value, vision, and ethos of the school in all interactions.

The administrative officer will support both the main site and the satellite division, so there will be some travelling required between both the sites.
