We teach reading using the Read Write Inc. Phonics programme.  We will send home physical books but we have also subscribed to the online library to help us to support pupils develop their reading skills at home as well as in school.

You child's class teacher will assign the appropriate book for your child to read.  These are matched to the colour and book number that they are reading in school.  They will contain letter sounds that your child is already familiar with, this is their chance to practise reading them in sentences.
