Betsy passes Assessment 5

Tuesday 24th November 2015

On the last day before the half term holidays, Gail and Tracey from DHK came to visit Fitzwaryn and to complete Assessment 5. Assessment 5 is the Classroom Assessment and Betsy was assessed as she moved around school and during a lesson when she lay on her settle blanket.

Tracey and Gail were both very impressed with the school, the children and Betsy! The feedback from the DHK team included  'Betsy was awesome walking round the whole school and the chidlren were so good with her. She remained on her settle blanket during the whole lesson that was observed and not once did she show any stress signals - which is fab and how we want our school dogs to be - enjoying the work they are doing. We are really proud of how well Betsy is doing and it was inspiring to watch Betsy in action, especially with the young man who communicates to Betsy through his computer.'

Betsy passed Assessment 5 and now has just one more assessment to go before she becomes fully certified!!
