Chestnut is a newly created class this year and it consists of Year 8, 9 and 10 pupils.
Chestnut Class are back ready to start a busy summer term. This term our topic is Journeys and in Big write we are doing work around the story of the 'Wizard of Oz'. In History the pupils are enjoying learning about the Victorians and how life then is different from life today. In Geography we are learning about different continents and countries around the world. We are learning all about lifecycles before half term and forces and magnets after. During our work on lifecycles we are also going to hatch some duck eggs whilst learning about the lifecycle of ducks and other animals. This term Chestnut class are also starting their woodwork project and designing their own insect hotel.
